Re: tablets
Hello Thread OP. :3
As a tablet owner, I can only speak from my mind, but if you are looking for a nice, affordable and extremely versatile tablet, all I can suggest is the Archos 70 Internet Tablet.
Starting at around £200 (I bought mine some time ago, so I'm assuming/hoping they'll be much cheaper), you can get a "7 screen, 250gb HDD (Aw yeah), a lightweight (300g! U mad sugar?) tablet, that's fast, reliable with micro/mini USB ports to suit all needs.
Want to know more? All Archos software is open-source and the OS can even be replaced by Linux! WOOOOOOOOOOTZ0RZ!
With the Archos, there are many things I recommend doing:
1: Update your firmware when you get it.
2: Once everything's up to date, register it.
3: Download ArchTools from: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/archos-ta ... ube-fixed/
The reason for this is that the Archos comes with an App Store called AppLib, but you don't get the normal google market! (Sad face here) so you're missing out on about 75% of apps! (D: x2) But with the well-known ArchTools mod/hack/tweak you can install the GOOGLEH MARKETZ!
4: From the Google Market or AppLib, download Flash Player for free. You can now play some flash games and use sites like YouTube.
I honestly can't recommend this little tablet any more. Look into it, and whatever you choose, the tablet will be great. Because Devs aren't stupid enough to make bad tablets.
Happy tabbing!
