HTML

Ok, so I'm gonna learn HTML, however I don't know where to start. There are so many types. Should I just Learn the classic HTML, HTML 4.1, HTML 5 etc?!?! I have no idea. Oh and I would rather have an answer from someone who knows what they're talking about 

Re: HTML

I learned classic because for me it was easy to build upon and a lot of it is interchangeable.

Re: HTML

This is where I started learning. http://www.w3schools.com/ I'm not to far into it, but the site makes it pretty easy. Start with the most basic and the rest will make more sense in my opinion.
