Google and yahoo

When you look at the people who are online, it says that google[bot] and yahoo[bot] is online. Why did google and yahoo place bots in a game forum?

They didn't, haypi staff chose those names, because the bots search the forums and posts. Well, that's qhat the search engines do. They also have an askjeeves bot.

The names are generic. There is an option to switch them off when the forum software is installed, but obviously Haypi staff want their topics to be searchable. They aren't placed in the forum, they are hosted by the search engine and do a sweep of all forums that have bots activated to return results. So when you do a search you can see topcis on this forum relevant to your criteria.
