Is this really offensive?

I am really upset with Haypi's picking of "experts" and the power they are entitled to.

We have an alliance member on S104 who's alias is F.U.. One "expert" there, devryan13, made it his personal crusade to get him banned. He is the one who considered it offensive… and really, is it that offensive? There are members who’s alias are of certain body parts or even action to those parts, and they are allowed, but the abbreviation F.U. is considered bad enough that Haypi’s support is threaten to cancel his account after he spends hundreds into the game.

He has been given an ultimatum to change now or face account closure.
He doesn’t want to change the name because really, it feels like this particular expert is waging a personal war against him. Haypi should at least pay him in coins or refund his money if they really want him to change his name for not particular reason than an expert not liking it.

There are brands like FCUK which is allowed worldwide. Abbreviation is really what you make of it. IF someone alias is A.H. would he get his account closed because people think too much about his name?

If his account really does get closed, in support many members of our alliance (50 strong) will leave in protest. It just shows that certain experts would just use their power to selectively pick out users to suppress other members who doesn’t fit their ideology.

OK, so how many people consider it bad? Really… is F.U. that offensive?

Re: Is this really offensive?

No matter how many ppl think it is proper or not, I suggest ppl don't use so such name in our game, considering there are children in our game. There still exist some improper doesnot entitle you to have one, and whenever we get report or discover such name, we will take action to ask the name owner to change it.

FCUK is totally another story, and pls note some of our players are still children and any negative things could mislead children and innocent players easily. To be honest, anyone who has little common sense know what F.U. means and truth be told, it is not people think too much about his name.

Please change the name as soon as possible.

Re: Is this really offensive?

Then why are names about certain body parts or actions to certain body parts be allowed? Why some are OK and others aren't?

His name has been there forever when it was on S16 and just because an expert made a big deal of it, he is about to have his account closed. That is not right.

Really, F.U. is just an abbreviation and there are probably a lot worse than that allowed in the game. Would kids get more offended with that more than someone called MetalArse? Or Pusikarac (look it up)? They post with Experts reading and not calling them out. Throughout the time F.U. was on S16, there has been no one complaining about it and now it is a big deal. Why?

Re: Is this really offensive?

Improper names are not allowed in the game permanently and we are always making efforts to rectify them and if you ever find one, you are welcome to contact us.

It is part of our expert's job to keep the game clean and peaceful and please don't give them a hard time when they are fulfilling their job.

Really? Is that what support want me to tell the alliance that I am in? Please dismiss it? We should all just quit if that is the attitude.

Re: Is this really offensive?

It is never my goal to get a player banned, I feel that is always the last option. In this case, the player was given significant amounts of warning to leave chat, and was contacted by support to have his name changed. If he does not change name, I don't believe he should be allowed on chat because his name is blatantly offensive. For those saying it was allowed on s16, I would like to point out that server had no experts, and because of that, no one had ever catched his name before.

Thank You,

Ryan

Re: Is this really offensive?

It was said that players complained about his name. So if it was so bad, someone would have complained during the months it was on S16. So why wasn't he warned by support then?

And really, is it the "worse" name out on this server? How many children are harmed by the abbreviation compared to the many other things said, shown via icons in World Chat?

Possibilites on s16 where that they didn't know how to contact support, and you had different players, but let's not speculate. Now, his name is offensive and support has given a response and given him fair options.

Why are you making this so complicated? He doesn't have to have his account closed if he just changes his name ... if there are other worse names, feel free to report them, I'm sure support will also ask them to change.

Re: Is this really offensive?

Im on both sides here, while the rule is to have appropriate names F.U. Isnt avoiding anything cus its an abbreviation and i have seen way worse than it. Anyone could take F.U. How'd they like, forever unbeatable for example, i'd say he shouldnt get banned for it though.
