Energy Crystals

You really have to play it every day.

Some days I will get 10 energy crystals, sometimes I will go a week without finding any.

If you dont play every day, you will never make it haha. I have 48 crystals so im super close!

no ur not lol. u need 40 more to embed a stone. and if u find a batter stone u need another 40 to switch it.

one slot each 50 if you get 51 the u will start to need 2 slots

I like that they are rare because you don't want everyone running around with that extra stone, but I think it would be better to only need crystals to unlock the slot and not to embed the stone too. That way, it would still take commitment to unlock the slot, but it would seem more manageable and people would go for it instead of just giving up on it.

Edit: Just posted this in the pvp guide thread, another possible suggestion:

maybe the stones embedded in the eighth slot(power, qs, volley stones) could decrease mana usage as well as doing what they do now. Ex. level 5 power stone brings power 20 down from 60 mana to say 55, so that a player with that stone embedded could use three powers and still have higher mana percentage remaining. I know this causes problems also, as with 55 mana used you can do 4x power, but maybe that could just be an advantage for high level players who put in the time to get the 8th stone.

An advantage such as this would certainly be good enough motivation to spend time looking for all those energy crystals.

You can stack 99 energy crystals in one slot. At 100 it will take up a second slot.

I agree with OP, it's hard enough to get them on the wheel, but it seems like I see them even less since the update. And considering how a lot of players have been trying since update 1.3, which was about 3 months ago and still haven't even hit the 50 to unlock the slot, kind of says something. I'm all for the loyal players who put in time, but at what point does it become ridiculous? And I agree that they shouldn't be kept in the warehouse, no matter how many slots they take up, especially seeing how you need three slots to open a chest. I think they should either bring up the % you see them on the wheel, add the chance of seeing them on every stage, or make laputa farmable.

Or at least make it where you can play it every 12 hours instead of 24.
They could also up the crystal rate in silver/copper chests.

Decrease the drop rate of 8th slot stones in crystal chests, I want lvl 4 things from the most expensive chest, not stones that go in 1 slot only.

Tuesday I collected 9 crystals, today I saw 6 total, got 2 luckily. Seemed like every wheel had 2 on it on tuesday. What an odd chance?

I have to agree with both camps here. I like tha it is hard to get the 8th slot open (I still have a long way to go) but I also think it is a bit to hard. Increasing drop rate of crystals might make it easier, maybe to easy, but at the moment, if you don't get one you get crap. The award, if you don't get one is not worth the time and certainly not the wait. For example, in three days I didn't get a single crystal, but instead 100-300 grey coins on each spi, which is virtually nothing in the end, plus the experience gain is also not worth the trouble.

Change the experience reward instead of increasing the drop rate of crystals and/or make the p-, v-, and qs-stones appeare on the wheel more often. Especially since the new magic-stone-trade-task. I am currently saving up for a lvl three p-stone to just give away for 3 crystals, but since the stones are pretty rare it's taking for ever...
