Since everyone in chat is rude and won't answer my question. What are the benefits of upgrading skills such as quick shot?

Basically you have a base attack (firing without any skills or abilities).

Each skill/ability manipulates this, Power adding %, quick shot letting you fire two shots of a lower % damage and so on.

By upgrading your skills and abilities you increase the percentage of damage that your dragon will deal.

Quick shot is also special in that at level 11 quick shot, you will have the capability to shoot 3 times instead of 2, each hitting roughly 50% damage, more if you upgrade quick shot further still.
