I don't know if there is a rule against it. But why would you sell it? You worked all to hard for it and even if you're working you can still come on every so often and play you don't have to play every single day.
Also why doesn't your friend just start from the beginning to enjoy going through all stages and having to level up themselves for the fun.

It's a well known fact that trading accounts is not allowed, as mentioned in the user agreement.
Honestly, what do they teach experts these days?
