Haypi Reflection - Its a lifestyle!!!
Reflections- my view
What is Haypi Kingdom? Is it a game to keep the wandering minds of thousands busy? Or is it a place where people from across the globe come together, form bonds of friendships or become enemies overnite? Or is it technology that is helping a few to make money through their hard work?
Hi, my name is Vikram and I live in India. I am a 33 year old male and am working in a multinational bank.
According to me, Haypi Kingdom is a lifestyle, a way of living. It’s a place where you can show your true self without risk of being sidelined or ignored.
I am not much of an iphone user and started playing Haypi Kingdom just by chance. Little did I realize I got addicted to it so bad. Now I play actively on S126, S98 and S99. Through last 1.5 years of playing Haypi, I have made lots of good friends and also a few enemies.
The game has taught me to be patient, to be ready before you walk into a meeting or a war (they have same connotations in today’s date), to plan your next move and your move after that and even the mover after that meticulously. It has taught me to listen to both sides of the story before judging anyone. It has taught me the meaning of team work, where people who have never even met each other, will stay awake just to fight off an attack on their team mate.
I would like to quote an incident which impacted my gameplay a lot. On S126, I was looking for a new sub. I thought I would take a sub from an inactive rather than building it from scratch. I was just talking to someone about this in world chat, when suddenly I saw a PM from Mr.x. He said that he has a sub which is coined till lvl 18 and he wants to give it away coz he has already got his eyes on a lvl 20. Now, X was one of the oldest players on the server, a lvl 20 himself. So I trusted him and went ahead with taking the sub. Infact X used his own alts to bring down the loyalty of the sub to 10. All this while I kept thinking that X is such a nice guy and he is trying to help a fellow player.
But it turned out that X was a jerk who just wanted to get a poor sub off his shoulders. He didn’t let me hit more than once so that I would not know the crop production of that sub. When I got the sub, I realized that it was only lvl 16 crops. I felt hurt and cheated. So I mailed him a couple of times but he didn’t respond.
Then one day I caught him in world chat, and he started bragging about how he has fooled me. He then went to my vice and asked them to make me move my new sub away from him main, thinking that I might retaliate. My alliance booted me out coz of this incidence and that hurt me a lot. I have learnt that never ever trust anyone in Haypi outside your circle of friends or alliance. This has made me a better player, a more learned player.
I hope to keep playing Haypi for long. So I will see everyone around. Thanks to the developers of the game for creating such a wonderful platform. Thanks to all the people who play this with an open mind and play for fun. Thanks to all the experts who keep the servers bound together and prevent people from using offensive language.
I will see everyone around. Haypi Hunting…..
