Re: Warp loop

I sent support a message last night, and they responded before I woke up this morning. I think an e-mail would help. ;)

Re: Warp loop

Why in the world would this be a glitch?
There is nothing glitchy about it!
The tactic takes advantage of the nature of forts and oases that the programmers programmed into the game since it was first released. There's nothing strange about why this works, and this is exactly why I posted what I posted when this thread first started.

There are certain tactics that the world just isn't ready to learn about. Makes me think about how my troops starve in dispatch now cuz support decided it would be a good way to deter cloning troops. Rather than fix the glitch of troop cloning, they altered the game mechanics instead in an effort to make it harder for cheaters to keep those troops alive..... But in the end, all the good generals and tacticians who develop cool strategies are the ones who suffer. Cheaters are still cloning troops after all......

If you go in game and check under troops in the "Support" section, it basically confirms this and says it's legit because troops get called back to the city whose crop they were eating.
Of course, if someone were to abuse this by using it to wreak havoc upon people with obscene-class armies, that player would probably be disciplined.
However, if you want to complain about something, complain about city warping. Oasis warping still takes some dispatch time and can be easily destroyed by stealing the warp oasis -- not true for city warping.

Re: Warp loop

I concur..... But the sad fact is, if it means more money to be made by warping cities, I'm sure this little trick will be quickly done away with.

City teleportation is a big moneymaker for this company. It would be unwise for them to do away with it, or change the mechanics of it. But your point is valid......

Re: Warp loop

well all of s23 knows about it as far as im aware and im sure its filtered to other servers, theres no point removing it now. plus most players dont use the forums unless they are really stuck soo its probably pretty safe
