I've actually been experimenting with an all cav army, with the addition of a lot of archers. When i don't expect to need the archers, I don't use them, but I usually wait two turns to see if the cats will chase. Then I move cav and archers forward. I am only experimenting with 25k archers for now, but so far they're destroying either an entire row of turrets, including lv10 or eliminating a unit that the opponent could use to block the cav for an extra turn. The huge weakness to a cav army is that the cats can move forward, then move backwards when the cavalry are about to hit. The cavalry will stop where the cats were before moving and won't attack. Also, all ranged will be too focused on the cavalry to do anything about the archers and i've seen the archers do heavy damage to cats before the cats get a chance to hit them...even when it's solely cats v.s. archers. I'm currently running all speed with the rest mostly in defense and some attack. Defense being well over 100 including equips and defense tech. Attack is close to 100 total. Any comments would be great, but if you're only going to say archers suck, don't bother because they're an extra cheap ranged to make the cav's job easier and their damage lessened. It works well so far. I still keep thousands of cats on forts because i don't want to waste any cav if i'm not getting prestige. Of course you're going to lose cav's with a cav army. The point isn't a clean kill, it's a quick kill. Ppl know not to leave troops out, you have to catch them quickly or it's wasted most of the time. Comment please. ^^
