Hunting help/experience
There are many variables in hunting including
-Number of troops Hunting
-Speed
-how recently an oases has been hunted in (if an oases hasn’t been hunted in recently you will get better rewards. If you wish to ensure an oases hasn’t been hunted in then hunt in an oases that you have just resigned as this will reset its hunt status.)
-overload
-lvl of oases (do not hunt in a level 0 oases as you will be unsuccessful but there has been no difference found in hunting in a lvl 1-9 oases)
-Fortune=Fortune plays a rather important role so do not be discouraged if you get lots of unsuccessful hunts
Collecting treasure
As far as I am aware the best way to hunt treasure is by hunting the NPC value of that treasure. This gives a small chance that the hunt will turn into a treasure of that same value. Recentlly I have been hunting with 1000 cavs and regularly pulling in either a lvl 1 chest (npc price=2000 money) or around 2000 money straight.
Hunting prestige from what I can gather you get 1 prestige per 25 money hunted (0.02%)
Best Hunters
Ive spent a lot of time considering this and from what I can gather infantry are the best hunters. As well as being able to hunt more of them for the same crop consumption they have a high overload (overload is the amount a unit can carry). Although they are not as fast as cavalry, cavalry only have twice the speed per unit but infantary have 3.2x the overload capacity of cavalry. Although speed is not cumulative the cumulative overload of infantary gives them better hunts.
Exponential?
(this next part is purely based on observations of just myself)
From what I can gather the more troops you hunt in together after a certain point you hunts become less efficient EG. Hunting with two parties of 10k cavs is better than hunting with 1 party of 20k cavs. So with large armies it is better to hunt in small groups if you wish to make more money effectively. However if you are hunting for large items then it is obviously better to hunt larger armies all together.
