Extreme Lag Problems

I am writing this about a minute after concluding an oasis retake battle.
The first time I went to send the attack, it failed me out with the standard "Please check your network connection and try again" message.
Second time, I managed to get the attack through. A FULL MINUTE before the attack was supposed to land, I tapped on Actions.
Nothing. The loading dial just spun, and transient failure messages popped up.
Long story short, I was only able to fire off to or maybe three commands, all of which appeared to be applied at least a round late. My troops charged blindly forward, and as of now I am stuck trying to simply access the Cities screen to retrieve them from the oasis. Closing and reopening the app has pushed me back a step, I now only see the main screen with none of my resource counters working, and the game is cycling through the "Welcome to Haypi Kingdom" and "Please check your network connection..." messages.
Though my troop losses were not high, I now have 900 cats out in an oasis. This acute lag was an annoyance before, but now it is a problem.

Ya i have been having the same type of problem!! what platform are you using an when did the lag start to worsen?

iPod Tough 4G. Probably about three or four hours ago, it was working fairly well (if a bit slow). Now, when I finally get to the main screen, it's an endless cycle of loading and loading fail prompts.

ya ya me tooo it sucks lol guess we are just gunna wait it out lol i had troops out when it booted me and wouldn't let me in but i used my android to put them away

so from those results im guessing this is an ipod bug

Just got back in. It seems to be working, at least for the time being.
