To bring some closure to this issue, I'll post the result of my situation.
Apple responded to the email I sent to
kingdomsupport@haypi.com saying he/she would check into the situation ASAP, which they did. A second reply was sent to me asking for a time at which I would be ready to receive the troops back at my main city. I responded with a time for the next day.
About 1.5 hrs before that time, I noticed those troops returned to a branch city (not even the one they were lost from) and the troops were sent hunting. No message was given prior to this. I was relieved that I noticed them since their addition to that branch city dropped the crop production significantly. So while I was upset that they couldn't follow simple instructions, I was glad to get my troops back. Of course, by the time I got them back, I had already trained enough troops to replace them so they were immediately sent off to die in a fort. But that's not the end of it...
It turns out that those troops that were returned before the agreed upon time were not the result of Apple's action. support2 sent me a letter almost 2.5 hrs after the troops were returned telling me that he/she returned the troops to my branch. CAN YOU READ??? I SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO BE NOTIFIED BEFORE THE TROOPS WERE RETURNED. What's worse is that once I saw those troops returned, I figured the matter was done with. Nope. At the previously agreed upon time, Apple returned my lost troops to my main city as he/she said they would. I woke up that night several times as I usually do to feed my troops and noticed my main city was much lower on crops than it normally was, so I checked around to see if I someone stole a crop oasis or if I was attacked...
In the end, I thank Apple for his/her response in a timely manner and for being literate. I can't say the same for support2. This is not a bash on support2... I am merely stating exactly what happened. Don't worry support2, I'm taking all my future issues straight to Apple. I recommend others on server 2 do the same.
By the way, for those that are concerned about me receiving extra troops as a result of this issue, you need not worry. They were all killed off at a fort. I'm already feeding my troops every 2 hrs and don't need more upkeep.
