iOS 4.1

It is a bug caused by ios4.1 function change, which has already been fixed. We will submit it to APPLE to review

Any news on new update? I've waited for like nearly a week now, past few days I haven't been on chat at all because of the bug and it's getting really annoying (and boring). I've asked support for help I know the update is being reviewed but is there any specific date to when it will be released yet?

The condition occurs at least for iPod touch where you have a pm sent to you. Until your pm message(s) are gone completely you won't be able to get into chat. I suggest using another device not updated or waiting. I've talked to support8 about this. It'll take some time but the update will be out soon I hope.

So when you say that 2.03 is in review and 2.04 well be coming soon thereafter, does this mean that 2.03 will fix the crashing issues mentioned above? Or will we still have to wait for 2.04?

Good question! My chat is actually working fine now I haven't updated or done anything to it, after 3 days of total chat lockdown it suddenly works smoothly... I don't know what I did but may be the bug moved on or only stays alive for 3 days. Just thought I'd let everyone know in case they might be suffering from the horrid chat bug

Yes.

1) If you have a pm in your pm's, then you won't be able to access chat unless you delete and reinstall the game, and even then you can only access chat once.

2) If you don't have any pm's then you can access chat just fine, but if someone sends you a pm then your game crashes and you should now refer to point #1.
