Troops MIA after attack

I just completed an attack on server54 from my town at 552:7 to a city at 551:4. I brought with me 1622 inf and 216 cats. The town was undefended. The final result says I had left 1622,0,0,216 soldiers, I did not get the city, and I received 1574 of each resource.

However, my troops have not returned home and I can't find them anywhere, and my crop levels indicate that they are not consuming food either.

Where are they, and how can I get them back!

Other players also found it useful to train solders - Hunt them and then recall.

If doing what they say does not work, then it is a glitch that Haypi is currently experiencing. I personally had a run-in with this glitch, in which troops which were supposed to return to the city never did. There is nothing that can be done for your troops in this case, just we can hope Haypi comes out with a fix soon.

encountered the same problem...dispatched 599 cav from a sub to my main city and they disappeared into the ether!

so much for those 8 hours...at least I got the pres for them
