no push notifications

I used to get them with all other phones and ipod but i just got a HTC EVO 4G and i am not getting them at all. I am getting other notifications such as facebook but not haypi push notifications. I made sure all the boxes for them where checked and even factory reset my phone many times. The latest thing support told me was to delete my gmail and make a new one which i did and it didnt work.... i need this fixed i cant buy a new phone for a long time...
