Sound nofitications for attacks?

This has bugged me for a while now but recently it got really bad!

I checked: notifications in settings, all is on;
attack is NOT hidden;
sound is on on my phone;

Haypi not open but running in the background and someone is attacking me but I receive no sound notification only a badge that says I'm being attacked BUT if I close it completely through the multitask bar(like how you would restart Haypi) it would notify me with a sound and a badge that looks like a text.

How can I have sound notification for ios4 while haypi is running in the background but not opened?

Fungie that happens to me as well, except I don't get sound whether I'm in or out of the app (iTouch 3rd Gen).. Only been happening for a few weeks.

I have a possible explanation but no idea how to word it right now.. Hopefully someone else posts something vv

wierd, i get notifications when im getting attacked. Do you have multiple accounts? cause if so, you ussally wont get notifications if ur not logged in to the accnt.
