Glitch while making troops - took my resources

I was attempting to make a batch of cats (249) and when I hit the Ok button, it spent a lot of time communicating and then gave me an "using too many slots" error. But I wasn't making any other troops at the time. So I went back out and then back into the barracks to try it again and I wasn't able to make ANY cats at all. Even though it wouldn't let me train troops, it sucked all the resources for it. This happened in my first sub city.

Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried simply exiting and restarting haypi? Sometimes network lag and communication problems cause some strange things to happen
