iPad crash, army starved

1. iPad crashed and had to wait to arrive home to restore iPad to default settings.
2. 1/05 10:53 pst (11/06 6:53 on haypi letter)
3. For some reason my iPad crashed and would not turn on after going into sleep mode. Had to wait to get home to restore iPad to factory settings and reinstall all apps. In the meantime I could not, transfer the food resources from auxiliary cities to city where army was stationed. I lost 1867,374,0,487 due to starvation, basically my whole army.
4. I cant say for certain if haypi program was the cause of the crash, but it was the only app I was using at the time.
5. I have no idea what caused the crash.
6. I understand that this might not be a haypi bug, but I was wondering if it were possible to have my army restored, I have enough food to account for amount they would have consumed. It will take quite long to rebuild this much of an army, especially without a decent army to start with. It is kind of discouraging, to have such a large loss, over an issue that i had no control over, after investing my money and time into building it to this level. In any case, thank you for your time and consideration.
7. I have no ss to share, but would gladly upload them if someone taught me how.

I am not sure exactly how to upload, but next time dont have your army in one city, it gives it a better chance of starving, next, since it wasnt haypi's fault (crashes happen all the time to me, and i dont play it anymore, so cant be haypi), i doubt your army will be restored. anyways, this way you can rebuild and get more prestige

Re: iPad crash, army starved

Beetle,
Yes I get what your saying, of course. Haypi is under no obligation. This is why I did not demand or require or even strongly request a restored army, but i did not see that trying to see whether or not they would as harming anyone: yourself, myself or haypi. I simply asked "would it be possible."

I asked understanding that haypi can hardly be held responsible for unidentified crashes, but I asked in the hopes that perhaps if crashes are as abundant as you yourself also seem to suggest, that haypi might be willing to do what they can to create the most enjoyable experience possible for it's players, regardless of whether they are directly responsible or if it is the platform devices issue. Once again, "in the hopes they might," no obligation.

As it stands regardless of whether or not the issue was a haypi problem, I would be lying to say that it does not affect, my gaming experience with haypi. If unrestored I will probably continue to play, but I take the time to explain my situation, which I doubt is an isolated one, that haypi might have an opportunity to show it's dedication to it's players. If not, once again, they are not obligated. No biggy.

Re: iPad crash, army starved

Here's what I'm thinking: if Haypi gives an army back for something like this once, then they're obligated to do it for everyone, and if they don't then people complain that they are being unfair. And while I completely understand how this would be a good representation of its dedication to its players, I see it as a potential pitfall as well that I think Haypi should avoid.

I am sorry about your iPad crashing and for the loss of your army, but I find rebuilding an army to be more fun than maintaining an army. :D

Good luck to you in whatever happens :D
