Troops not returning immediately after battle

After a battle, the remaining troops are meant to travel back to the city immediately if I'm correct. Though lately many people are having a problem with that happening. Right now even, It's been a good 5 minutes since my battle and my troops still have not returned to my city. Usually it doesn't bother me because they appear around a minute later, though that isn't the case any-more.
Yes I've tried restarting the app, training more troops, upgrading things - still haven't appeared.

Can you please look into this and sort it out asap as I'm sure many people wouldn't want to be caught in this situation especially if they're not able to be online for long.

If battle with fort or oasis you go to click on the oasis or fortified choices and callback men if doesn't work try fully shutting off your device

Considering she is a very intelligent moderator and knows her way around the game, im sure she did that.

I have the same issue occasionally

this problem is becoming rarer and rarer for me, yes ive hd it before where it was 5 minutes before they return but thats the longest. it would be nice to see this sorted

I find that leaving the game and restarting fixes it.
