Haypi Monster Update: Version 1.2

Just curious, how long did the installation itself take on your iphone/ipad?

Mine's been updating for the past 20 minutes or so without much progress, I hope it didn't get stuck somewhere :/

[edit: The installation was completed just right after I posted. Took around 25 minutes. Have fun playing everyone! ]

Mine only took 30 seconds to 1 minute! I got lucky there I guess!

There's a lot of new features but for any support reading this thread, read the 'Bugs' section immediately since I think that there are bugs on major parts of the game.

Yet another amazing game update and even a lvl cap increase. That is rarely seen. Thank You Haypi!
If only Haypi Dragons could get an update like that.

What does 9 vip progress points mean?

I got the update about 2 hours ago (05:30 Australian EDT, UTC+11). Guess I was sleeping whilst you-all were having problems.

All MMOs have downtime for updates, server maint., etc. I think this one went reasonably well.

(But I wasn't sweating over a high-rank ladder position. )

What does 9 vip progress points mean?

Go to Menu — VIP. Across the top of the VIP page there should be a progress bar. Normally 1 coin purchased = 1 progress point.

So if you've never bought any coins before, you would be able to get VIP1 for $1 instead of $2. (Assuming it's still 10 points for VIP1.) You could have got $1 VIP1 during the New Year coin sale, but not many people seemed to take advantage of that. Maybe this bonus is another attempt to encourage more VIP1s.

Question: will new accounts start with 9 progress points? Or has the threshold for VIP1 been lowered for new players? Or is this a bonus for existing players only?

This update is amazing... Thank for Haypi. However:

it's way too hard for players didn't pass these veteran mode and expert mode before this update. Monsters as more clever(of course, quite good to challenge ) and use advance skill... Their hit rating is so high... This is ridiculous !!!!

plus, the percent of advance skill book prize from expert mode is much lower and really hard to respin to get it. It took me more than 30 coins the first time but still not get it... No way, so unfair.

Plus, 2 pvp with Bot way too strong... It's way stronger than the strongest player in my server...

... It make me loose excitement for this game.

I hope Haypi can check this out. Thanks for listening

They wont listen. Thats how they do money -> UNFAIR

Will, they actually do listen but the problem is that the implementations aren't the right ones or haven't been tested properly.
