It's a long story. I used to be one of those forum Nazis that correct everyone's spelling.
I used to have big issues with 'u, r,' instead of 'you, are' etc. On a forum I've been around for about 7 years, a few of us formed the Spelling Police. It was more just for fun but we literally had the members typing correctly for months

I was in something similar on a manga forum.

Was blown when leader accidently put 3 "L"s in spelling on his sig :/
