I heard adaptability increases damage by about 3 times. It'll probably be less when it returns. Perhaps twice?
But still, I think adaptability makes no sense. Why adapt to something the monster is already comfortable with, which is in this case, it's own element type? Wouldn't it make more sense for it to adapt to something it's not used to, like a different element type? Bu perhaps that'd just make it even more of a pain to deal with. Lol.

Re: neo v,s, Thor? Which one do you like better?
Adaptability is WAY too powerful, especially for it to be based on the luck of an ultimate rune gem. I have no problem with things being incredibly powerful if they are based on putting in time and effort...or even money if it gets there a little quicker. However, Adaptability, especially on a Draco at early levels (I'm a Noob on a Noob server), really affects gameplay. Those who got Adaptability with their first Ultimate Rune Gem are pretty much guaranteed earlier access to more Ultimate Rune Gems than those who did not...which makes a lot of their monsters a lot more powerful than those of us who did not receive it...perpetually. It needs to be weakened, or Ultimate Rune Gems need to be more accessible to players who haven't reached SS Team, or it just needs to not be available on Draco.
I doubt the complete imbalance is as noticeable to those of you who had already completed SS-Normal when it was released as it is to those of us who hadn't. We got what we got (I got Blaze-1, which isn't too shabby) and have to deal with actually creating teams that can beat the NPC's while those with Adaptability just have to have enough jellies and potions to not kill Draco before they finish a level because their Draco will kill everything. So, they have access to SS Team, which gives more money and (from what I understand) has Ultimate Rune Gems. That means they get more money and more Mystery Talents for the Epics they do have than those of us who flipped the coin and didn't get Adaptability. I'm just going to ignore the implications for PvP and Ladder, because they should be apparent.
