Bahamut Skill Build

So I have a Bahamut with "Night Killer (magical)" as it's talent.
Is it viable to put PoD on it? And what skills do you advise to have on this Baha?
To be used for Ladder.

PoD is a must in my opinion, then weather and cunning - dont think neither dream thief or punishment gets used by the ai in ladder, so its optional for whatever u need outside ladder :)

Thanks! Looking for more ideas on a Baha build just in case Flush/Invalidate gets in the way? People in my server are saying PoD isn't too good on a Baha? Any opinions?

Re: Bahamut Skill Build

Punishment is used in Ladder but only against stronger monsters and only
sometimes.
Pod and cunning/punishment are worthless against invalidate setanic/levi
Dream Thief is too weak to play against setanic

Depends on your server..if you do not have many setanics/inv then i would put pod, cunning, punishment and weather.
If a lot inv setanics out there i would perhaps use dream thief +6 and maybe
a water move or sth like that.

pod is especially good on baha, bc he can keep attacking first during night even tho he has a higher speed than a non pod monster hes against :)

for invalidate i guess dream thief is the best, but i dont know if the ai will keep using cunning on invalidate, or its clever enough to use another skill

From what I've seen, the AI will avoid using stat-change skills when Invalidate is encountered.
Same as how Earth Barrier became completely useless because the AI knows the opponent has it without it actually being activated once !
AI is a little TOO good ;).
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Thats what i noticed today too in pvp.
My Baha without pod and my partner baha without pod
His baha attacked first cause he do not have stat bet and that means he is slower and have to attack first.
But after i pod my baha now my baha attacked first all the time ( 2v2 pvp )
But why? My pod baha has now even more SPD and attacks first ^^
Where is the logic?

Re: Bahamut Skill Build

So if we're considering there isn't many Invalidate monsters out there, the favorable build would be PoD-Weather-Punishment-Cunning? And what is the best talent to have on a Baha in your opinion?

If the Minotaur has another skill such as Iaijutsu or Frenzied Attack, it will use that.
Otherwise, it will still use its strongest Earth move before switching.
