My tip is to do all your daily task as soon as you can when the reset just happened. This way, if there is a maintenance later on in the day, the daily tasks will be reset, giving you more chances to get more challenges.
For example: as soon as the reset happens, I finish the 'Daily Training' daily quest - which will give me 1 extra challenge. If a maintenance happens on the day, I will get the same quest to do but my challenges won't reset to 10, i.e. if it's increased to 11 after finishing the quest, it will stay 11 even if the quest has been reset.
