Behemoth isn't really a monster that strikes everyone as an offensive monster. It's really more like a tank, like Pewgway, but a better attack.

Try Scythe if you want an offensive Earth type. With Resurrect, it is pretty deadly!

I have one with formation one with armor III

Although, they have same skill set=_= massive boulder and boulder..haha

Yeah..I guess I run out of mobs to train and things to do...

What else ton do other than making more monsters

Behe = expensive to make , need evolve item and evolve at 32 , not that good attacks , may have great defence but its speed destroyes it , bad talents .
So i am makin a scythe and i guess its the right choise !

Actually behometh atk power is much higher than scythe.
It's really situational. When fighting mobs like fire/electric types their speed is gonna to be faster than both sycthe and behometh so behometh is better becuase it hits harder as both will go last.

Scythe speed is better in situations like where u have more speed than smiter/oogway so you can get martyr in before they ohko you and than res after. It's speed makes it good for fighting behomeths and flights as it gets an extra hit in.

So
Behometh better for = ignightmare , neon, rhor, verta, felicity, etc
Scythe better for = smiter, oogway, behometh, flights, etc

I think they are about the same, serve different purposes. If facing plant or water type , they will both lose.
if facing another boopie, armor III is better.

my armor III has martyrdom, so when facing plant or water type, he can do a lot more damage before getting killed.

But in ladder, I really think they are about the same. It won't change the result of battle whether to put formation I there or armor III there.
( if hypothetically, we don't take martyrdom into consideration)

I think there are some issues design-wise with the epics. I understand that making them situational is good for the metagame. However, I think that HM should spend more time balancing and giving them more roles.

For example, a great balanced monster with a lot of versatility is Thor/Rhor because it can be magic specialized, physical specialized, or balanced (with adrenaline). So when you play against or with one, you have three options to specialize it and build your team around. Wouldn't be great if all the (already limited epics) have this type of variability. Then the fights won't be about who has the best ABC or "luck" to get them. It would be about strategy, synergy and other features.

But there are not that many options... 2 water, 2 earth, 1 fire (2 if you buy the draco pair), 2 electric, 1 ghost, 1 psychic... and from those a few have several good talents, from the top of my head I would named Cygness, Thor, Neon, and... maybe Scythe... the others just have crappy talents that limit them to be one specific build... if there where several types to choose from and create several types of teams I would say that is OK to specialized them.. but that is not happening... so... HM just suck from that point of view, or maybe pokemon with the hundreds of monsters and variations just spoiled me...

Just my 2 cents...
