I *had* a bunny when I was young but it was a long time ago. I also had ducks, a chick, a number of dogs, a few cats, a couple of birds (sadly, no parrots) and hamsters. Of course, they are the family pets. Oh and no, we don't live in a farm!
Someone was selling the chick on the street and I managed to raise it to become pretty big - almost a chicken!
However, right now, I doubt I will change from being a dog owner and only a dog owner. He's already a handful by himself!
Also, sorry for going off topic!
My mom always wanted a dog, she said, dogs are responsive, cute, and affectionate. Rabbits are so numb...but she likes the rabbits too, we are kinda stuck with the rabbits for life.
I think I will get a pig, because rabbits are not afraid of pigs, they are only afraid of predators ...I don't know if you have heard of UC Davis? That's my school.
It's very famous for veterinary science, so we have swine facilities.
I took pig management classes before, and my professor often gave out free piglets, runts of the litter. ^_^ free, and easy to raise. They eat everything and I don't need to worry about their weight,
My rabbit is out of control, weight skyrocketing from 5 lbs 6 oz to 11 lbs 6 oz.
Losing weight is hard. It's even hard for me, harder for animals who don't care about their appearance.
