PETITION: Nerf Lupa ASAP

Yes, I just turned this thread into a petition. Lupa HAS TO BE NERFED ASAP. If not now, when? After those desperate people get 72k prestige that they don't even deserve? Wait what, because you had an S Lupa early in the game that already grants you the first Felicty in your server? I started this thread for my own benefit I admit, but now that I think about it, I am not only doing this for myself but helping new servers as well.

You guys who still think that Lupa is not OP, why bother defending it? If it's not that good, why use it? Everyone in my server, top ten excluding me, all use Lupa. Some of them even have 2. This ridiculousness has gotten way out of hand and must be fixed soon. I therefore sign this petition to nerf Lupa.

Alright marionette you win Lupa is OP. Henceforth I begin my journey to harvest and S Lupa army!! Can't you just WAIT until they merge pvp servers. ;D

Again, you can't expect to beat good monsters like lupa without putting in the time to get epic monsters and breed them. It's as simple as that. Either play more or stop complaining.

The point here is that EPIC are the ones that are supposed to be harder than Lupa. I mean come on! Even a B+ Lupa can kill 2 D+ epics, where's the logic in that? Also this has been said time and time again, Lupa is easy to breed rather than getting 2 epic scrolls - synthesis costs 120k for breeding assuming you get both genders the first try. Whereas the minimum you can use is 40k to start breeding. Then of course, it's not easy to get epic scrolls from team mode compared to veteran mode where the scrolls don't even always appear.

Your understanding is very much appreciated and the point you brought up about Common and Uncommon monsters is true and I believe is worth more fighting for. Who knows, if those monsters are buffed up to the same levels of rares and/or epics there'll be a ton more Lupa counters.

Ive got ADHD I completely forgot about it ROFL, but still Id like to see some more positivity on these forums. Ive suffered the same losses to full Lupa teams and still I don't see the topic being worth the debate. Instead maybe lets talk about how we feel the new Rune system will effect the game. Even given the small amount of info we do have about it, it would be positive.

The update will be released on Monday, and they did not mention anything about Lupa. There was a rebalance of moves, like self damaging skills damage your monster for a percentage of damage dealt instead of percentage of max health. But, for this patch, it seems too late for Lupa to be nerfed. Though I gotta say, this patch will probably widen the power gap between Lupa and epic monsters because of the different mystery talents they would learn.

so heres the thing. you do know lupa cant get any of those expert books right? boulder, wildfire, tsunami, etc....none of them. hes rare not epic. if you breed up some epics and give them the best skills then lupa becomes a joke.

quit whining, breed, level up, farm for some good skills and you'll laugh at every lupa you see. quit being a baby and go play the game. it'll change when everyone levels up.

Ok. The comparison of a B Lupa to a D epic isn't remotely even close. A D epic is going to have roughly the same stats as a B rare anyways...that's why you must breed. Smh one of these days y'all are going to see the point.

And yes, you breed an S Lupa and any epic to S, about 3/4 of the time the epic wins. The one time it doesn't is because an attack misses. Oh man Lupa is soooooooooooo OP

Now I have given up on trying to get the Lupa being nerfed. The update is going to be released on Monday. No mention of Lupa being nerfed plus it's too late to make changes to the update. Another probably wont be release for a while, so give it a rest. And it looks like this debate isnt going anywhere.

Probably because the petition didn't really start until after they submitted the update to Apple? As far as I know they need to submit it a few weeks earlier as it has to be reviewed.

Let's just see what happens after the next update. With the reworks added, I am hoping that there would be no need to rework Lupa. I hate him so much but would like the other monsters to be powered up rather than Lupa is (alone) powered down.

I seriously don't get the big deal about Lupas. I'm not a fan of it. It's a jack of all trades and master of none. Yes it can learn intermediate skills of multiple types. But in that aspect it pales in comparison to champ or flight. And not to forget it doesnt have the 50% same type boost from using the same type monster. Yes breeding is a long process but u only need A epic monsters to beat S Lupas. If others are willing to put in the time and money to breed Lupas, then why begrudge others and not do the same for your monsters? And please do not shoot schwag for detailing his experiences on S1, S1 is an older server and that is precisely why it is not irrelevant. What happens on S1 will happen eventually to other servers as well. If u choose not to learn from the experiences of those before you, it's your loss. Personally, I love coming up against Lupas or better still multiple Lupas, they die no matter which of my monsters I'm using. Lastly, just because you are a more experienced player, it doesn't mean you will always triumph over the newer ones. It's a game. Up and coming players keep the game fresh and exciting.
