Sphierix talent

I need to know that how does fort2 sphierix do vs water mobs? Is he good coz his mdef is low! I have a fort2 setanic and levi and setanic is the best fort2 monster.. So can sphierix last a torrent hit? It can last massive boulder coz of huge def..if he is good vs water mobs then ill try to get that talent
And please tell me build for sphierix.. I heard sfb and mind bend are good
