Element changes via breeding

What is you have a favourite species of monster but want it to have a different element. What if you can crossbreed any monster to get one of the two parents species and one of the twos element eg breed a Draco and a bud and have a low percent chance of getting a hybrid like a bud that is a fire type monster or a Draco that's a grass type. Also what about two element monsters able to use skills from both elements and have all its elemental strengths and weaknesses. Also monsters of opposing elements can't breed directly one of the two must be a two element hybrid to achieve a water and fire hybrid.
