Recovery of Skill Books from Monsters

I believe that we should be allowed to make our monsters forget the skills that we taught them and recover the respective books. I just felt that it would be a rather neat implementation that would make the game much more convenient for some. =)

If they did that, it would have to be a 1 time thing. Or everyone would just use PoD on this monster for awhile then switch it to another etc.

There's nothing wrong about that.

What's wrong about this suggestion is due to some Epic being able to learn Advanced Skills , you can just exract the skill from them and farm essences

What I meant was, players should be allowed to recover skills that have been taught to the monster via books (manually). Not those that they learn by default. =P

Re: Recovery of Skill Books from Monsters

Perhaps that might a good idea but, as Bullhead had said, it would only really work out well if it was a one time deal. Think about it.. If you could use and remove skills as you pleased then there would be no need for more than one or two of the same skills. It wouldn't be as much of a challenge anymore and no need to purchase more books. No spending coins on books or respins = decrease in money you spend on HM haha. I'm not going to say it's bad idea because if done right it could turn out well. Thanks for sharing your idea, WinTin :)

Maybe it would be good if you can recover the skill for some essence of wisdom?

Re: Recovery of Skill Books from Monsters

After some thought... It would be nice to be able to remove a skill that we covered up before the monster learned it Naturally

If we could to that, I think to get 1/2 of the EoW that skill would have made if we D/E it originally.

Example: Someone put Frenzied attack on Draco where Wild fire was to go naturally. I we wanted to remove Frenzied and replace it with wild fire, We would only get 40 EoW for it. We wouldn't get a chance to reuse Frenzied, it would D/E automatically.

There would be no chance of "Trial and error" skills. That would be your choice, Either take it off and get 1/2, or keep it on there.

Here's my suggestion.

You can recover any "ONE" book that you "TAUGHT" the monster when you scarfice it.

I'm against this suggestion.

I taught Vertedeath PoD. Don't like him now, I like Fenrir. Sacrifice and transfer book. :\ Nope. Leveling to 50 is easy now that there is bonus with team modes and what not. So sacrificing creatures are no longer a big deal. Transferring PoDs is.
