We should be able to choose to go to any server and stay there. We are allowed to switch servers every 45 days or so.

Re: Server switching
I know why you're suggesting this (based on your post in general) and I'm with you wanting to change, HOWEVER they're have to be some restrictions. Mainly I don't want a level 31 players with all level 55+ S monsters moving to a brand new server and just destroying everyone, so maybe make it so you can either only move to a server below you OR to a server created within x amount of time from the one you're currently on. Also I don't really want to have to start over when I switch which is why I said all that

for once I agree with you Lord.Rex
+1
Without restrictions, I would say no to server switching. And perhaps impose a fee as well for switching.

Re: Server switching
See I know what I'm talking about
besides this has been suggested many times, both here and on other haypi games all the way to HK. I've seen every argument in the book for it lol

Re: Server switching
K, well how about, you can only switch to a server if there are a certain number of player at your trainer level or above? We're given a list of the servers that are fit for us and we choose.

Re: Server switching
That may work. As long as they do something, course this is assuming they actually even do this lol

Re: Server switching
I really do want this, so I can meet new people in Hm rather then talking to same people every day. ( no offence server 2) but I mostly just want it so I can go to server 22 and pvp with lord. Or bother him not sure which one is more fun yet xD. But sure server 2 is great and not many cheaters but I would at least like to have this option, like maybe:
1. Every month at reset you have an hour to choose a server that has at least 30 people above you player level, like suggested up there ^
2. Pay $5- 10 to change servers (I'm sure haypi wouldn't mind more money)
3. You don't carry ladder ranks with you, so you don't kick someone less out of their own rank in their server. Like you have a set ladder rank per server. Which would mean more or less prestige for some people but still.
4. You need a lvl 20 or higher friend in that server to give you a code or something to get in. At least lvl 20 so people can't just go to new servers and create new accounts and invite themselves, like lvl 20 is at least a couple weeks of hardcore gaming. And in that time they wouldn't play on their main so they lose out either way. Or the inviter of code has to have had their account before the server closed up and made a new server.
But I wouldn't do a server change if I couldn't go back later or if you would lose your monsters lvl or player lvl or status in solo (normal, veteran, expert maps) .

Re: Server switching
At the moment, I wouldn't mind this at all!
Don't get my wrong, my server has full of really nice players, and some who are not, but it's way too quiet for me. I would like a more active one because, as of right now, I am losing motivation to really invest my time in the game.
The only problem I see if that the transfer of the information from server to server might be extremely tedious and it might cause problems. For example, there will be over-crowded servers, etc.
If they find a way to implement this without them taking time away from the other parts/features of the game, I will be the first one to try this out!

Agreed, but those unfortunate enough to pick server one after this happens would be stuck.
Instead the system could allow one transfer to any server upon reaching a certain level (eg level 16), then any subsequent transfers must be to a lower number server.
Or higher level players get more restricted choices. For example levels 1-15 can choose any server, levels 15-20 can only choose older servers etc.
Or allow transfers to servers +1 or -1 to your current one.
Re: Server switching
As I said, you would only be able to go to a server with X amount (let's say X represents your level) of players at your level. You would get to keep everything too. Also, no fee for server switching if you're VIP 2+. If you're under you have to pay 1$ to switch once, 2$ twice, etc. Finally, impose a time limit on transferring. You could only transfer servers once every 45 days, it cycles daily from S1 to S2 to S3 and so on, but if you're VIP 4+ you are able to transfer servers every 30 days instead of 45. This would actually give a HUGE incentive to buy VIP and would make the game so much more fun.
Also, I really like Krister's final point. Make it so that you can only transfer to a server, not only after there are the required number of players for you to join but also, if you have a pal which you have met on the forums to have given you a code to switch to their server.
This would be able to create so much revenue and happiness with the game, it'd be unprecedented. You could bottleneck the amount of traffic you'd get from server switching by imposing these limits. People would also spend much more if they were able to transfer. It's a win-win!
