More options on creating topics

Hey guys,

I've noticed that some of the topics, especially in the General Discussion zone, are missing some nice features...

First of all, you can make a poll in the Off-Topic area, but not in the much more visited General Discussion area, I'd like to see this added!
I've also noticed that it's not possible to add information inside a spoiler.
In my opinion, a forum can be cleaned up significantly just by placing the long(er) posts inside spoilers. It would make the pages load so much faster aswell!

Technically, they do have spoilers:
This is their spoiler and as you have noticed, you have to highlight this to see the text.

However, a 'minimize' button for the text - kind of like a spoiler window - would be a good idea!
I also want the poll option badly. The general discussion is a place of discussion - asking other players for their opinion so a poll would be excellent at compiling all these.

There are codes that are available for this forum but are rarely used so if you need any help, I'll be happy to give you some pointers as some are not obvious.

I'm aware of most of the Syntaxes, but the standard
isn't useable, which disturbs me, since the use of a spoiler is to hide text, so that the page loads faster, the topic looks neater and the viewer has the option to open it or not.

As you said, we really need a Poll option in the General Tab.
