Psychic weather

Will it be possible to have a psychic weather, because no matter what you do with psychic thrust it will always put you in confusion. There has to be pros and cons. Either make a weather for them or make a skill book that lets you...I wouldn't want to say take control of your opponents monster more like lay eggs in it's head(which will confuse them), enabling you to throw mind thrust without confusing yourself.

I came up with a weather for my "My design" character. I think somewhere down the line something will be implemented like this for psychic characters.

I was actually thinking about a new weather earlier today!
It wasn't for Magic though, would've been ''Night'' for Ghost elemented monsters. Would decrease hit rating of any element with 8% :mrgreen:!
I do like the idea of a new weather though, so +1!

Am I the only one who thinks they don't need weather? I mean come on confusion? You're complaining about THAT? SFB loses attack, mb loses defense, STS and torrent both stun, those are actual downsides. The mb defense loss is the difference between a scythe surviving or dying from my Cerberus' just like the attack loss can save even a plant type. Worse case scenario with confusion is you hit yourself, but at least it'll do full damage if it works and you'll still get a turn.

Confusion can screw you up big time.
Not only can it prevent you from not dealing damage, it might even deal additional damage to you.
And this is for more than 1 turn.
However, I can see what you mean, with todays trends, it's kill or be killed, so these two extra turns don't matter as much as they used to do.

I'd rather be confused with a chance to attack than not being able to or do noticeably less damage

I've hit myself 5 times in a row with confusion and killed myself before so confusion definitely screws you just as much as stat debuffs. Psychics definitely need something because they're the most disadvantaged monsters atm, which is why I suggested a pod counterpart for them. I haven't seen a non noob using a psychic in months. Even Angelo isn't used seriously, just as a nuisance with intimidate/unnerve so the other monsters can take you out.
