Suggestions for a way to keep players happy

Here's a suggestion.

Why not let players enjoy a weekly or monthly event where we can catch a "LIMITED-EDITION" monster that currently exist already?

For example, you can have Draconius available for catching in normal mode just like devil and angelo but have a Blue Draconius instead of the regular one. Red Rhor instead of the regular rhor, etc. Color-swap of the already existing monster will not require much labor.

If possible, maybe add a blue draconius as a water type instead of fire? Have the stats and talents to be exactly the same, but just have him as a water type.

This would give more variability into the game without compromising the balance issue since these are just epic monsters.

This will keep players more engaged into the game because of the nature of "limited-edition." By doing so, you're rewarding players who are actively playing the game.

A lot of phone-based rpg games do this, and this is one of the major way that game companies like Mobage utilize to keep players happy.

Re: Suggestions for a way to keep players happy

I like the idea of a weekly/monthly event, but I think changing the element of monsters would cause too much trouble.

What skills would a water typed Draconius learn? Both water and fire? It'd make it too OP I think, as it'll be able to counter Earth without any real issues.
Also, color swapping has been suggested in the past, and came to the conclusion that it wouldn't really add anything other than aesthetic looks.
Finally back on track and ready to help you guys :D!

Re: Suggestions for a way to keep players happy

There's a reason why a lot of other games implement color swap. You might think it's aesthetics but the nature of these kinds of games suggest that aesthetics is really the primary thing some users would consider.

Water draconius would have only water skill. It'll be a water-type monster. It's not a hard concept to understand. All of the existing fire skills have its counter part in water skills. 90 dmg, 120 dmg, etc. You can literally have the draconius follow the same skill tree as Pewgway for example. It'll be a Pewgway that looks like draconius.

The main point is that it's a limited edition. Only the players who played during this speicific time will be rewarded such a monster. People will look forward to seeing more and more of them, hoping they could collect these monsters.

It's much better than the small pool of monsters we have now. It's also much easier on the developers because they literally just have to change the colors of the monsters only.

I cant believe they havent added Wanted Monsters or Saga trials or the new Exploration activities like those that are in TLT. Or even Fortune race. They might not be big and long activities, but its something different. I wish you die hards luck, I hope Haypi does add some stuff for you soon!! :) ;)
