Intimidate

Could u check the 'intimidate' talent again? I think it's not properly fixed. The talent won't work if the monster is the first in line. It works only when it's the second onwards or when I switch it to battle. Thank you in advance.

I assume you are talking about Intimidate on Ignightmare.

Ignightmare has almost the highest speed. The higher speed monster will be send out first. Intimidate trigger right after the monster entered the battle. Then opponent monster will enter the battle afterward. At this point Intimidate is already triggered. Thus, Intimidate has no effect due to the chain of event.

To fix this problem, they will have to change the trigger phrase of Intimidate and other talent like this, for example, unnerve.

Hi, there was a mistranslation in the skill description in the English language files.

The skill description has been changed to "Your opponent's physical attack decreases when your monster is manually switched into combat."

Well, that is still wrong. When i fight a flicker that has intimidate talent in volcano expert.
At the start of the battle. My ignightmare was sent out first, intimidate activates but nothing happens(because no enemy on battle screen yet.)
Then enemy flicker appears, his intimidate activates, which lower my ignigtmare's attack. That is not switching at all btw.

Are you guys trying to cover up bad programming with words in skill description?

Pokemon has the same skill which works perfectly fine. ** hint hint **

Why don't you just change it so it activates on first hit landed and it will save all the headache and angry ppl

Hi, the Intimidate bug is due to the very structure of monster combat, so that is why the description will be changed while other options to tackle the issue are being weighed.
