Breeding Poe

I dunno if this is a bug or it's actually supposed to happen but when I tried breeding both my Poe's an error message appeared

as this notice said,poe cannot be breed

Poes cannot breed. You need evolve them first. Two monsters of same species that are evolved from Poes will be able to breed.

Does that mean a Poe evolved from an earth honey cannot breed with a Poe evolved from a fire honey for example? If so will the offspring be a Poe or the evolved form of Poe?

Hm makes business sense

Male Earth Poe + Female Earth Poe = New Earth Poe
Poe + Poe = Not able to breed
Male Fire Poe + Female Water Poe = Not able to breed
