SS veteran mode and SS expert mode

Hi I notice that SS veteran mode 1 is harder than SS expert mode 1 is this a bug...
Coz in SS expert mode 1 can 1 hit almost all the mobs except champ and flight using my smiter lvl 48 with force 3..
But in SS veteran mode 1 I need to hit them twice before I can kill them..
Is it suppose to be like that? SS veteran mode 1 is harder than SS expert mode 1?

Yup something is really off with SS vet mode - it's as if the monsters are 10 levels higher than stated. I'm having a much harder time with vet levels than expert, I can breeze through expert with zero items but on vet I need a buttload of jellies and as you said even with weather I can't oneshot anything and this is with a party of level 50 grade S monsters.

just cleared ss vet, it was a hell.

it seems that all the monsters are atleast A or even S grade, normally the monsters are D or E grade. i compared the HP stats with denira's sheet.

i was affraid that ss exp would be impossible, glad to hear that it's les hard than i think it would be
