I wish teachers wouldn't give out projects.
1.) Omega.... Awesome Watchmaking Company
2.) Speedmaster.... First watch to land on the moon, Chronograph style, still in production today in dozens of variations.
3.) Chronograph.... A complicated watch that aside from keeping time ( hours, minutes, seconds) has he ability to record up to a 12 hour period of time at the press of a button all while still keeping normal time.
4.) Co-Axial Escapement... invented in the 1990's and the one of the greatest watchmaking break throughs in approx 100-200 years. You know the whole sliced bread expression... That applies here haha. It reduces the friction on the internal mechanisms of the watch prolonging its life by decades It not centuries if properly taken care of.
Chronometre - A certified watch by the COSC garunteed to keep time within a window of -4 sec/+6 secs in a 24 hour time period. There are also several other strict guidelines it must pass.
In a nut shell a 10,000-15,000$ work of art.
