S13 cry out for experts

i'm sorry Mey i didnt download this application to become a baby sitter/enforcer. Yes rules is a must in life to prevent chaos yada yada yada. Its utimately up to the parent to decide what their children are exposed to because iphones do come with parental tools to prevent such instances. saying so... a child with unsupervised internet access is bound to come across offensive material.
As stated in other topics the world chat policing is becoming excessive and in many cases are only escalating situations. Their desire to enforce a tree hugging flower picking mindset in a war based game is a total oxymoron. End result is there will be massive muting if not banning to add to the numerous amounts of inactive players.
This cry for help is really unneccessary, most of the comments you correct Mey should be overlooked and ignored but you cant resist. Just relax your standards this isnt boarding school child. Nothing is wrong with a little banter.

No one said you needed to "babysit" or "enforce".

Haypi is a public game with a public rating, from what I've heard, meaning all ages are free to download without agreement to being over any age. Just because they might find offensive material elsewhere, doesn't mean it should be encouraged here.

No one is a "tree hugger" or "flower picker", nor do they push that mindset. There are better ways to go about chatting that's respectful, whether or not it's in a war setting. And yes it's possible.

I believe we are getting slightly off topic here. Kiara simply is asking for some kind of moderation to happen whether it be with a previous expert, or admin more frequently.

Whether or not you agree with people trying to clean the chatroom, you cannot deny that we do have problems, especially recently. And these problems make it difficult for new players to ask questions and get their answers. It also stops other players from chatting themselves.

This is a problem probably in S12 also, although I cannot say for sure. I know admin is working on it, they've stated as such, and I'm glad. Sure, there's not much we can do until then but ask, and if they continue, block. But it's the best we've got with what's provided.

I hope you understand people are just trying to help, whether you agree with them or not. And saying they have a tree hugging flower picking mindset, doesn't help anyone.

Uly, as I'm aware you are new to thisgame and don't really understand the mechanics and the way haypi wcs are run.
All I am asking is for an expert or someone with power to mute troublemakers which should deter others from causing trouble and keep arguemnts to a 5minute time span instead of an hour long fight...I don't see why you have something against me but every thing I say you seem to have the need to provide an arguemnt and make me seem like the bad one.

I feel that you have all made valid points. I am also on s13 and have witnessed some of the chaos in wc but i have also seen many other things. There ae many players genuinely trying to help and being reprimanded for doing so as well as the occassional player who over polices as it has been called. Experts are needed there is no doubt of this but in order to provide the type of environment haypi would like it requires time to choose experts wisely so I feel that patience should be given to support and the admins and they will handle the situation as they always have. Just please be patient!!!

The only reason you get trolled is because of either how you act or the way you ask... i have always been successful in s13 at stopping spammers etc... just dont come off demanding them to stop or threatening to attack...

I'd just like to add that the devs gave us a 'block' function for a reason. It reminds me of something my mom used to say when my younger brother was annoying me: if you don't react to it, he has no reason to keep doing it. And I feel like that wisdom can be duly applied here. If they don't stop when you ask them to, then quit reacting and giving them more ammo and just cut the oxygen supply to the fire. (thanks for allowing me to mix two metaphors there)

Yes i agree all ages can download this game but in order to do so they have to agree that they will come across offensive material. And what you and I find offensive are polar opposites. I happen to find certain vulgarities to be hilarious depending on the intent. What i dont agree with is the wishing of physical or emotional harm or death of anyone based on race, s.e.x, age yada yada yada. you are going to tell me my own views? by me conforming to what you find respectable is indeed pushing that mindset. Not everyone thinks/acts like you or wants to . With all the different races, ages, ethnicity, cultures who are you to dictate what to say and how to say it.

I dont see any problems people dont deal with on a daily basis but they seem to manage without you there.The only thing that would make it difficult for players to have a problem asking questions is the alliance annocements that take up too many lines. From what I've seen Mey nothing shuts you up, not even bigotry, so i doubt people will keep from chatting because someone rants. As for cleaning the chat room you seem to take it to the extreme and sterilize the hell out of it.

Help to a point or else you are just crippling them. Again its my view and stating it so helps convey my message. Same reason why people use adjectives, similies, or metaphors.

I still think this cry for help is nothing more than the knee jerk reaction of only a select few people compared to everyone who plays the game. That being said if it was a bigger issue than what its lead on to be more people would have registered and written about it.

Lol I didn't read any of the above....so I'm just going to say this thread was just to let the world know that s13 has been having trouble and we'd like to have experts asap at the time I wasn't aware that s12 was still waiting as well so forgetthe thread stop whining and arguing k.thx.bai

You're always complaining about the language used in World Chat yet, there is a filter installed on the servers to prevent people from saying those exact words. Just earlier you were complaining to me and trying to make me not use the word "douche", the word isn't blocked, thus I can use it, even if it were to be blocked I can still say it because the filter blocks it for a reason.. Overall, Mey/Fey is an over-controlling, self-centred e-bunny that sucks up to Experts/Mods/Admins, tries ever so hard to become an Expert herself, yet, she fails? Trying to constantly mother people into not doing or saying things is stupid and pointless. Help the newbies out and that's all you should be doing.
