Fortune Run Chests

Do chests change from time to time by itself.

Just about almost an hour ago, there were tons of silver coin chests on the field. Then few minutes, all silver coin chests changed to Purple card chests. How could that happen?

Is this normal? How often does this occur?

Anyone notice about this?
