Is thickness any good?

I doubt if this talent is any good. Anyone know how much damage is reduce?
Is it worth to give hippo thickness instead of bloodlust? I feel like thickness with soke seem to be useful than bloodlust. Give some suggesstion. Thx

onlh seen thickness on dragons so far, but it seems alright, not spectacular by all means tho
