Just like he suggested:
1) lots of seal cards (preferably 100+ for worse scenario)
2) monster which can inflict status: paralyze, sleep (burn, poison are not recommend).. Also don't use weather that lower hp: sandstorm/blizzard
3) monster which can recover to prolong battle (soak, photosynthesis are examples)
4) Blade of mercy (pretty handy consider you shorten enemy to 1 hp)
5) luck..
like i told myself all the time... There's good day and there's bad day... You may be able to catch epic with few cards or never catch one...
