Prologue entry #1

Hi guys ^.^ well, my name is Nick... And I hate writing in English class -.- but I can honestly say it was fun writing about haypi adventures :D so here goes

------------------------------------------------

Long ago, there lived a rich man who ruled all the seas and all the lands. Every dock and harbor belonged to him. He held all the wealth of the world in his hands, including 8 of the most priceless runics ever to be found. This man was once said to have been able to travel to the future using a key, but not just an ordinary key, because this key is only available to those who hold all 8 relics. Now, this man was wise, some say it came from his power over the runics. When he grew old with age he made one of the toughest decisions of his life, to get rid of the runics. His sons and daughters lusted for their father's power, but they did not love him. The sons and daughters were selfish, each of them only wanting power for themselves. The rich man knew this, so he scattered the runics across every corner of the ocean's seabed. He knew that only a true man, possessing a brave and honest heart would find the ancient relics and rediscover the door to the future. And so time went on, generations upon generations upon generations. After 500 years, a child was born. This child's parents were told he wouldn't live, but he did. The parents were told he wouldn't be able to walk without a limp, but he ran. The parents showed the child what he COULD be, and not what he WOULD be. The child grew into a man, true and possessing a brave and honest heart. The true man wanted to set out on a quest to find the 8 ancient relics, he wanted to be like the rich man in the legends, his ancient ancestor. People told him not to go, because it was just a legend, and it wasn't true. Others told him it would be foolish to embark on such a perilous journey, they told him he was sure to die. Everybody in the town told him the same thing, not to go. But he went anyway... Knowing full well the dangers and adventures he was about to face.
