Competition entry #1 japono

A long time ago, when the world first discovered the technology of traveling by Sea. There was a a Very powerful kingdom which was very wealthy with gold, and resources. no other kingdom in the world could ever rival this magnicficent utopia. One day the very wealthy kingdom purchased 8 unique relics, from a land far away. Then the ship carrying the 8 relics was ambushed by sailors who wanted the strange treasures for themselves. the relics were lost in the battle and sunk to the darkest depths of the ocean floor. from there oceanic currents scattered the treasures across the ocean. Upon hearing the news the king of the magnificent empire posted a large sum of gold and untold riches to whom returns his treasures to him safely. Sailors and inlanders all alike were enticed in the generous offer of the king and built ships and set sail in search of the treasures lost at sea. (to who ever finds the relics realizes once the 8 relics are aligned side to side they form a key into the future)

this is just what i think, but by the sounds of the competition discription there are 8 relics to collect and once you have collected them you move on to eight more? sorry if i burst your bubble
