Pirates of Port Haypi
I've heard about the contest for the new app "Haypi Adventure" and its competition, so I'm going to try my luck and put my writing skills to the test.
-- Pirates of Port Haypi --
There is a large island like no other located somewhere in the Pacific. The inhabitants have called it "Isle de Haypi" after their god, the great Haypan. The inhabitants are much like us, and have similar technologies. They are most proud of their docking area, Port Haypi. However, there is a large threat to the inhabitants, the Haypanians. The volcano of Haypan is bored, and it will erupt just to stop Haypan from getting (too) bored. So he has given the Haypanians a quest: to seek and find the sacred Pieces of Eight from the bottom of the Pacific and open the innermost chamber of his temple by combining the Pieces of Eight into a key. He has promised that whomever has done so will be respected by all and have rewards that the Haypanians cannot even begin to imagine (he'll also refrain from erupting, but that's just a bonus).
However, the Pirates of the island have different ideas. They believe that if the volcano erupts, it will kill everyone and they will ravage the island, making them wealthy men. They have decided to collect the Pieces of Eight, but to keep for themselves, and maybe even ransom them.
So which will you chose? Will you try your luck at collecting the Pieces of Eight and being respected throughout all of the Isle de Haypi, or keep it for yourself and triumph to rule the Isle de Haypi? The choice is yours.
