Why don't threads under general discussion show up in the active posts list?

ummm, do you mean "view active topics" or "view new posts"? Or is there actually a "view active posts" that I'm missing?

he probably means active topics and it shows the threads with thhe most recent posts i believe

general discussion doesnt go under that link, because the general discussion tab has its own link on the index pag, while non of the others do.

i think that what i said, pretty much explains his question. im not sure if it needs to be explained better, but what i said is the basic overview of the answer
