fortified point guide/page thingamajigger?

Could someone point me to a guide/page that tells approx how many troops to send to fortified points to take them? and also do i get prestige for killing a fort's troops? thanks

I do not know if there is one.
But I can tell you the catapult requirements for each level.

Keep in mind that these are without ANY TECHS. With techs you could probably cut them down by a ratio of 5:1 ex: 500 cats, for lvl2 fort, with good techs could be brought down to 400.


1 - 250
2 - 500
3 - 750
4 - 1000
5 – 1500
6 - 3000
7 - 6000
8 - 9000
9 - 13000
10 - 18000

Keep in mind I did not make this, I was shown this.
I found by using this, that this is probably the best amount of cats to take to NOT cut it close, and lose NO troops.
Although sometimes I do use less than suggested here.

Fey already answered the first question. No you don't lose any prestige if you kill fort's troops or if you lose your troops against a fort.

10% seems to be a safe number. If you know what you're doing you can go a little under it. These numbers posted here, some of them are under the 10% and some over Looks like someone just wanted to round the numbers.

You can attack fortified points to gain extra resources if you win the battle, if you occupy a fort (attack and win 3x in quick succesion) you get 20 times the level in money per hour
