Perhaps they should hold a competition, promising rewards based on how much is spent overall, and after the competition is over judge what to give out for each place, so they are guaranteed to still make as much money as they need.

Obviously you:

False. You personally should know this.

False. I'm pretty sure being 2-3 years ahead of an average student my age at math doesn't make me fail at basic arithmetic...

False. Both A and B.

BreREX, quite the truth-teller... :o don't tell jlo, I think he's afraid of such a person existing!

Re: PVP Suggestion

So right now they give away one ipad to the top pvp'er right? And you want them to give out three more and a macbook pro in addition to more lower lvl prizes? You would be more than quadrupling the cost of prizes. I'm not saying I don't think haypi could afford it (They are ranked 21 on the app store top grossing list after all), but I'm not sure that people will spend over four times as much coins even for these rewards. And if haypi is making money as it is, they probably see no need to tamper with the formula. I could be wrong, but there is my opinion.

Yes, if Haypi were one programmer making a game for fun in his/her spare time...
But there are people who work for Haypi, and have to get paid...
If these people weren't around (ie, weren't getting paid), there would be no PvP, no prizes, and so it would make us all unhappy, wouldnt it? O_o

I'm 99% sure they don't make that much after paying employees and all. 3,000 players, a good 500 inactives. At least 2,000 actives who don't pay a dime, and probably 400 that pay <= $25. So, by that, let's say they make $10,000 from those 400 and from the other 100 they make another $10,000 (avg. of $100 per player). $20,000 x annual PvP Competitions (about 12) = $240,000. A good $1,000 at minimum for prizes per competition makes the total $228,000, let's say. >= 14 employees, that gives just as salaries alone ~$16,250 per employee. So is it really fair to cut down that already relatively small amount even further?

Re: PVP Suggestion

14 employees take part in helping pvp? It seems like questions could get answered faster and chat could be moniterred more often then... I assummed pvp had about 2 workers max >_< and the guy who trips over the plug that always delays pvp ;) haha

Re: PVP Suggestion

Yes, it's basically just Tracy, but there are at least 14 total workers...
