There is a difference between offenders in my eyes...

Ones who are truely sorry - and repent

And the trolls - who fankly - I don't care about - and have requested perm mutes on them.

Another thing... why are there exceptions?

Re: Suggestion on rules and experts

Everyone deserves a chance in my eyes even if its only one chance. I ust be too nice. Trolls can change, I read a poem once it stated that every ogre has a spark of compassion somewhere and every ange has a flaw, the question is can you ms amuse that spark and bring it out rather than letting there hate dominate
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: Suggestion on rules and experts

Guys I'm just saying, experts are there to help and to moderate, somebtake it to far, I've seen insta mutes on people for asking a question of an expert that seems sarcastic and then the expert who muted them said no arguing _______ see you in five hours, yes I have reported this. An also if they are there to help and moderate they should not use phrases that sound like threats as warnings, warnings should be 100% clear so that no one can misinterpret it as a threat or an unfair mute an report it, it would be to the benefit of both the regular players and the experts as there woul be less chance of an expert wing reported for abuse of power and the players would know when they are going to far.

Re: Suggestion on rules and experts

Double middle finger post with the F-bomb in it.... should that be insta-muted?

What if the poster had been warned once, then posted again and was muted... 5 hours later logs on and posts AGAIN.

There are multiple scenarios for what could happen and how it should be dealt with... also, this game is rated 4+... so technically an elementary schoolkid could be chatting, and picking up bad words :/ just a thought

Exactly my argument - sadly we have to warn them 3 times - regardless of the offence =]

Then report them after 3 mutes...

Re: Suggestion on rules and experts

Insta-mutes is something that happens for a reason. I mean on s113 we have people that get insta mutes AFTER their main get's muted because they try to avoid the mute by logging on into other accounts.

As for something else, I find that some experts are too fast to judge. I mean one of my friends got muted just because he has a similar name to someone who just got muted before he logged on. He was upset about this like anyone else would be if it happened to them.

After the new server merges (like 113 for example) I think the experts should be 100% clear when giving warnings because not all the players know how the other server experts do that sort of thing.

1 thing justified. Holes like this are made... I use common sense (Muting on this.. etc - hence why I support instamuting vulgar IMAGES)

if an expert doesn't know it's an alt he shouldn't mute it. End of.

After the new server merges (like 113 for example) I think the experts should be 100% clear when giving warnings because not all the players know how the other server experts do that sort of thing.

After the merge - the 'best' experts from supports eyes are chosen - people make mistakes... I do myself - I do agree that we should be 100% clear when giving warnings but it should be easy to delineate between a warning and a simple slap on the wrist. Sadly not everyone can do that.

Re: Suggestion on rules and experts

Meh, I wouldn't say "best" experts, I know people who log on once every 3 weeks to haypi and keep their expert :| one expert logged on 3 months after merge and his first post was "hi" and his second was "wow, still got expert haha" so I'm not totally sure how that's a good expert xD
